Some special yoga clothes are available in the market. But there is no compulsory dress code for yoga. You can wear anything in which you are comfortable. The only thing required is that the dress which you wear for doing yoga should enable you to do the yoga poses without any obstacle.
Here are a few tips on how to dress up for yoga:

• Do not wear materials like jeans which do not stress as you will not be able to do the moves and poses freely.
• Wear clothes which fit properly. They should not be too loose or too tight.
• Wear cotton clothes so that there is proper ventilation. This will help your body to remain cool specially during the summers.
• Choose your clothes based on the type of yoga you practice. If you do the lighter ones you can wear track suits and if you do the tougher ones wear light clothes to avoid excess sweating.
• Yoga is all about relaxing your body. Therefore wear clothes in which you are comfortable and feel relaxed.
• You don’t need shoes while doing yoga as it is done bare footed.
